What has Changed in the 2019 Subaru Outback?

There aren't any huge differences between the 2019 Subaru Outback and past model years, but there are enough tweaks to improve the driving experience for any that get behind the wheel.

The celebrated EyeSight® Driver-Assist Technologies now come standard on every model, and other tech upgrades, like more USB ports and an advanced LCD display in the instrument cluster, deliver more convenience. Plus, the STARLINK multimedia system and the audio system itself see upgrades so that they're easier to use.

Powertrains

The capability of the Subaru Outback is well known, and that comes from exceptional design facets, like 8.7 inches of ground clearance, but the powertrains also have a lot to do with that. Car shoppers still have their choice between a four- or six-cylinder BOXER® engine for up to 256 horsepower and a towing capacity of 2,700 pounds, and the Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system is, of course, still standard on every model. In short, the 2019 Subaru Outback is as capable as it has ever been.

Trim Levels of the 2019 Subaru Outback

There are technically six trim levels, but the only difference between the 2.5i Limited/Touring trims and the 3.6R Limited/Touring trims is the engine. Below, car shoppers can look through all the standard features of the four unique trim levels to see which is right for them!
