If you attend the class on Jan. 7, 2023, Chef Mike Cunha of Sullivan University will teach you how to make a gourmet dinner menu featuring Manhattan clam chowder with garlic croutons and basil pesto, a seared chicken breast served with a side of saffron mushroom velouté, a vegetable medley, and rice pilaf. Of course, it wouldn’t be a special occasion without dessert. You’ll tempt your taste buds with an orange Cheesecake topped with strawberries and orange meringue.

Discover the 9th Annual How-To Festival on May 14, 2023, at the Main branch. This exciting affair kicks off at 10 a.m., and couples can learn more than 50 things at this five-hour extravaganza. Discover how to brew beer at home, create cake art, or make plumbing repairs. You can also perform a modern dance and build a colonial whirligig at this completely free event. The Louisville Urban Agriculture Coalition will be onsite to answer your DIY gardening questions.
