Did you know heart disease and stroke is the number one killer of women? Go Red for Women was created by the American Heart Association to increase awareness and empower women to take charge of their heart health.
In 2004, the American Heart Association (AHA) faced a challenge. Cardiovascular disease claimed the lives of nearly 500,000 American women each year. Since creating the Go Red initiative, millions of women have benefitted from this passionate, emotional and social initiative.
